What, where, when?
Masterlanguage offers four courses each year for (almost) all languages: each semester, one course focuses on linguistics, the other on literature.
Where courses take place depends on which university organises them; luckily, in the Netherlands, no city is ever really far away. The organising university is listed with each course in the course catalogue.
No longer receiving the student travel product? Don’t worry: you can get reimbursed for your travel expenses.
Masterlanguage courses are always scheduled on Fridays, taking place in the second half of the first semester (November-December) and the first half of the second semester (February-April).
Masterlanguage in your master’s degree
Your courses have a study load of 5 or 6 ECTS (for VU/UvA students). Your Programme Coordinator or study advisor can give you more information on how to integrate Masterlanguage into your master’s degree.
Each year, there are two registration periods. The dates for the upcoming registration periods and more information on the application procedure can be found here.
